Our highly skilled RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurses are key to your pet's care. Nurses are an integral part of the surgical team and will be by your pet’s side from the moment of admission. Our nurses care for their patients as if they were their own and many of them have gone on to do further training and qualifications to ensure the very best care of the highest standards.

In addition to the tender loving care of all patients, our nurses are responsible for surgical preparation, assisting the surgeon during procedures, anaesthetic monitoring and the safe recovery from anaesthetic or sedation. Registered Veterinary Nurses have a broad range of skills and are additionally able to perform tasks such as taking and analysing blood samples, carrying out X-rays and changing bandages.

Our administration team are key to the smooth running of the day to day admin duties of Highland Vet Referrals.  The team take care of various tasks consisting of sending information, scheduling appointments, liaising with clients and vet practices, insurance claims and dealing with any other queries you may have.
